This is a blog about my life as an artist, mom, and teacher (including the ups, downs, and glories of being). It's a journal to help me (and maybe you) look at the things others and I create in our day to day living with the mess and clarity that seems to accompany creativity.
In progress...artist, mom, instructor... believer in the holy grail of findng balance (still searching).
My MFA is from Brooklyn College in Drawing and Painting (focused on drawing), my BFA is from UNH in Drawing...am taking some time now to try and figure out something about this stuff called paint.
"Sometimes when you pick up your child you can feel the map of your own bones beneath your hands, or smell the scent of your skin in the nape of his neck. This is the most extraordinary thing about motherhood - finding a piece of yourself separate and apart that all the same you could not live without." - Jodi Picoult
